Atholl House in Camps Bay is a gem of a property, with intimate and homely accommodation. As providence would have it, I got to spend a night relaxing at this luxury guesthouse.

Tucked in the beautiful suburb of Camps Bay between magnificent mountain and serene sea, one can only expect gorgeous views to welcome you. Apart from the views, I was also welcomed with a delicious glass of Porcupine Ridge wine and friendly smiles from the staff.
WINE. VIEWS. HAPPINESS.
My room, Amethyst, was possibly one of the best rooms in this beautiful luxury boutique guesthouse! With all the comforts of a modern 4-star 5-bedroomed accommodation venue, I knew I was in for a treat of a night. Needless to say, I spent most of the afternoon soaking up the Atlantic Seaboard sun as I sipped on my glass of wine on the balcony just outside my room. The views are breathtaking…
Of course, I also had to enjoy what culinary delicacies lay ahead, so before I made myself too comfortable, I headed off to Kove Collection’s UMI – a modern Japanese restaurant. There is so much to offer on the Camps Bay strip, so it was a really difficult decision to make as to where I would dine. After a delicious meal, heading back to the luxury of crisp, cool linen on a King size bed which I would have all to myself, was an indulgence I had been looking forward to all day!

The next morning I was greeted by these two friendly faces – Princess and Faith really brightened up my morning!

The breakfast table was laden with a delectable choice of pastries, homemade granola, yoghurts, cheese and fresh fruit.

Jason, the manager on duty, also offered a choice of warm breakfast – I enjoyed a delicious French Toast topped with bacon, honey, cream cheese and berries accompanied, of course, with a good cup of coffee! My morning had officially begun!

Atholl House is a beautiful space for special celebrations too, and I imagine that outdoor soirées on the balcony overlooking the pool area with views of the setting sun could make any occasion truly memorable.
A LUXURIOUS & HOMELY PROPERTY IN THE ‘BURBS.
The owner, Katja is clearly very proud of her team and this luxury guesthouse, and she makes a concerted effort to connect with everyone who has the pleasure of staying with her. Hospitality such as this is always admirable and what makes one’s impression of a venue complete.
OH! This scrumptious Eton Mess was a complete spoil…! Thanks to Jason for the unexpected sweet treat. This gives new meaning to going the extra mile… My sweet tooth appreciated it!
